Palm Sunday @ St. Dominics Church

Exaclty 2 years ago, on a Palm Sunday, I was in San Francisco, and had this wonderful oppotunity to attend to the Palm Sunday Holly Mass, at the St. Dominics Church. As a Christian, everytime I have the opportunity to visit a new city on a Sunday, I go to a church to a mass, so I can learn from the local culture about the similarities and differences from my home country, Brazil. I am belong to the Roman Catholic Church, and St. Dominics belongs to the Anglican Church. Most of the rituals are the same, so I could accomplish my religious duty of attending a Sunday Holy Mass, listen to the Word of God, the priest's reflections, and above all,  participate on the Holy Eucarithy. After the event, the community invited me for a gathering at the church's community center, where I met great people and learned about their actitivies in the neighborhood. If you want to be local, follow my steps. Attend to some religious activity and meet REAL people, with REAL stories. You will end up with REAL friends and REAL memories. Today, April 10th of 2022, is also a Palm Sunday, and I am here to eternalize on Metablox this memory of a Holy Sunday, 3 years after the one in San Francisco. The world changed a lot! We had a COVID-19 Pandemic, that lockeddown almost all the citizens worldwide for at least 6 month in 2020, and now we are sadly watching the war between Russina and Ukraine, ending a long period of relative peace, bringing the discutions about democracy, military power and commercial war back to the scene. May God Bless us on this Holy Sunday, and bring us His Divice Mercy. Wish that everyone in the world can open the heart to God's Message and love one another, after loving Him above all.
