On 13 July 2023 Shelby Companies Limited, an affiliate of Knighthead Capital Management, completed its purchase of Birmingham City.

The Hong Kong circular and Knighthead's own release that day are the primary record.

The Kop and the Tilton Road End still face each other across a pitch that now carries a sponsor suffix, Knighthead Park.

A boyhood supporter had sold an American insurer on a Championship club and a brick bowl in Bordesley.
