Goblin | Samcheong-dong Stone Wall — The Lane Where Fate Kept Walking

Samcheong-dong climbs north of Gyeongbokgung on a slope of galleries, tea rooms, and rebuilt hanok. The stone walls are low. The lanes kink. In early Goblin, Kim Shin and Ji Eun-tak take one of those walls as if it were a private corridor. The cameras liked the way the masonry turns a city street into a path with only two people on it.

The neighborhood is public. Anguk Station, Line 3, exit 1, and a ten-minute walk puts you on Samcheong-ro. Side alleys peel off toward Bukchon and the old presidential residence on Yunposun-gil. Visit Seoul folded this slope into the same Goblin course as Unhyeongung and Ilgamho Lake. You will share it with tour groups in hanbok and with residents carrying grocery bags.

The drama did not invent the walls. It only taught a new set of visitors which corner to stand in. Come on a weekday morning if you want the lane empty enough to hear your own steps. The stone is cold even in April. That is the texture the scene was using.
