Orange Days | Saigoyama Park — Sae’s Hilltop View

西郷山公園 (Saigoyama Park) in Aobadai, Meguro is used repeatedly in TBS’s 2004 オレンジデイズ (Orange Days). Filming-location records place Sae here in episode 2 looking out over the city at sunset, and return Kai and Sae to the same elevated park in episode 4 for another conversation.
That repetition makes the park more than a one-off backdrop. Its open hilltop and distant view give the series a quiet outdoor counterpoint to the university campus, allowing Kai and Sae’s relationship to develop in pauses rather than crowded interiors. Meguro’s current park information still lists Saigoyama Park at 2-10-28 Aobadai.
Pilgrimage note: this is a public neighborhood park. The skyline, trees and furniture have naturally changed since 2004, so visit for the spatial match and atmosphere rather than expecting an untouched set.
