WRAL TechWire, Network World, and the school's own alumni list do not.

Charles H. Robbins finished Rocky Mount Senior High School in 1983.

His later public profile lists the years 1980 to 1983.

The campus that printed the diploma sat at 308 South Tillery Street, opened in September 1953, and ran between Tillery, Hammond, and Nash Streets on about 24 acres.

On 10 July 2012 the high school moved to a new plant at 1400 Bethlehem Road.

The Tillery campus became the site of Rocky Mount Middle School.

A visitor standing here is not looking at the 2012 building.

Other alumni from the same school include former North Carolina governor Mike Easley and the basketball player Phil Ford.

From Tillery Street he went to Chapel Hill, not to a coastal tech campus.
