The filming-location archive identifies it specifically as the terminal building where Kuroda’s son falls from an escalator; the real Narita Airport appears separately in the same episode for aerial airport imagery.

That distinction matters for pilgrimage accuracy: the dramatic escalator sequence was not filmed inside Narita’s passenger terminal. The Telecom Center remains an active 21-storey office complex at 2-5-10 Aomi, directly connected to Telecom Center Station. Its current operator also runs a public observation room on the 21st floor, giving visitors a legitimate public destination within the building without implying that office or tenant areas are open for sightseeing.
