Filming-location records for the 1998 GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) identify Fujimidai Park in Hachioji as the park where Eikichi Onizuka carries Azusa Fuyutsuki and throws her into a fountain. It is one of the series’ readily visitable outdoor locations outside the school setting.

Fujimidai Park remains a major public park in Hachioji’s Shimoyugi area. Hachioji City describes it as one of the Yugi district’s largest open-grass parks, with an observation area and large play equipment. The park was substantially renewed in 2020, so its present-day landscaping and fixtures should not be expected to match every detail visible in the 1998 drama.

Pilgrimage note: use the park as a scene-location match rather than assuming the exact fountain configuration survives. It is an active family recreation space, so keep photography unobtrusive and respect other visitors.
