Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha | Seokbyeong 1-ri Breakwater — The Red Light They Married Under

The harbor at Seokbyeong 1-ri is a working cut in the Homigot coast. Tetrapods stack on both arms. A red cylindrical light stands on the seaward end of the east breakwater, flashing every few seconds the way a harbor light is supposed to. You walk the pier to reach it. The tower itself stays closed.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha used this lamp as Gongjin's edge. Hye-jin and Du-sik come here when the village is too small for what they have to say. VisitKorea puts the wedding against the same red column and tells you to keep walking past the village hall at 207 Ilchul-ro until the concrete runs out. The houses behind the hall are lived in. The production said so in 2021 and asked fans not to knock.

Stay on the breakwater. The color holds in late light. Boats still tie up on the inner wall. The drama borrowed a harbor that was already doing its job. When you turn back toward the hill, Gongjin is only the name the cameras gave a village that kept its own.
