In True Beauty, Ju-kyung and Su-ho run here before a phone call cuts the afternoon open. VisitKorea still points pilgrims to 17 Sangju-ro in Namhae-gun. The beach is public and open at night. In summer the water holds its warmth. In winter the pines make more noise than the swimmers.

The county calls the sand the finest on this coast. That is a tourism sentence. What you feel is how far the slope runs before the water starts, and how the mountain sits in the frame no matter where you stand. The drama needed a straight run and a horizon that would take a close-up.
