True Beauty | Yunbosun-gil — The Lane That Played a Comic Shop

Yunbosun-gil is a short slope between Anguk and Jae-dong, named for a president's old house. Low walls. Galleries. A leather shop at number 31 that the drama dressed as a comic-book room.

Prince Comics, in the story, is where Ju-kyung and Su-ho keep running into each other over borrowed volumes and ramyeon. The real address is YN ANIMA, a small maker of bags and jewelry that still sits on the left as you climb. After the broadcast the shop kept selling the bracelets the leads wore. The lane itself did not change.

This is Bukchon by another name. Changdeokgung is a few minutes east. Gyeongbokgung is west. VisitKorea folds the whole quarter into the True Beauty map because the production walked these alleys for school-adjacent dates as well as the shop interiors.

Stand outside number 31 and you will not see a rental shelf. You will see a door, a sign, and the same stone that every other hanok lane uses. The joke of the scene was that two people who hide their faces chose a room full of other people's drawings. The lane still lets you make that walk without paying for a ticket.
