The towers at 33 Haitian Second Road are later than the company.
Tencent's first self-built Shenzhen tower, the Tencent Building at 10000 Shennan Avenue, opened on 24 August 2009.
The Binhai pair came after that move out of rented science-park floors.
Chinese-language building records date the start of construction to 21 November 2011. English summaries often round the start year to 2012.
The towers were topped out in February 2015 and put into operation on 28 November 2017.
They stand at the crossing of Binhai Boulevard and Houhai in Nanshan: a south tower of about 248 metres and 50 floors, a north tower of about 194 metres, joined by skybridges.
The design architects of record are NBBJ.
Tencent's own offices page still names Tencent Binhai Building, No. 33 Haitian Second Road, Nanshan District, as the Shenzhen headquarters address.
