By 2011 Etsy was no longer in a Fort Greene apartment or on Gold Street.

The company had sat at 55 Washington Street in Dumbo since August 2009.

That is the address where Kruti Patel Goyal's first Etsy title is recorded: Director of Marketplace Integrity and Trust and Safety, from March 2011.

They also agree that the first job was marketplace integrity, not product and not finance.

The building is an ordinary Dumbo loft block a visitor can still see from Washington Street.

The company left it in 2016 for 117 Adams Street, a few blocks south.

What started here was a decade of internal moves — international, seller services, corporate development, then chief product officer — all still inside the same marketplace.

The pin is the 2011 workplace, not a private home and not the later Adams Street headquarters.
