Wikidata, following a 2020 profile in Stato Quotidiano, records the birth in Foggia on 12 July 1977.

The same profile is careful about the next line. He spent his childhood in Manfredonia, the Gargano port a short drive east of the provincial capital.

The Swabian-Angevin castle still sits on Viale Miramare, a stone circuit between the old town and the Adriatic.

It is the public landmark a visitor can stand in without knocking on a private door.

The house he slept in is not the pin. Living-person rules keep current and former private addresses off this map.

What belongs here is the town that later claimed him back. In June 2020 Manfredonia named him to a local restart group after the first pandemic lockdown, and the announcement still led with the childhood on this waterfront.

Some later bios compress the story to “born in Manfredonia.” The register and the local paper both say Foggia for the birth, Manfredonia for the growing-up.

The distinction is ordinary in Italian records and worth keeping straight.

From this harbour a teenager left for Bologna in the mid-1990s to study telecommunications engineering.

The castle does not explain the lyrics company. It explains why a Pugliese founder kept talking about two maps: a registered birth inland and a childhood that faced the sea.
