Capgemini's registered seat is 11 rue de Tilsitt, one of the Hôtels des Maréchaux on Place Charles de Gaulle.

Thierry Delaporte walked into that group in 1995, three years after starting as an auditor in Paris.

He joined as an internal auditor at the Sogeti subsidiary and stayed until 2020.

The jobs in between were finance posts first: chief financial officer for Southern Europe, then Asia-Pacific, then North America.

From 2009 the titles turned operational — global outsourcing, the Financial Services unit, Latin America, and from 2018 group chief operating officer and deputy CEO.

He oversaw the integration of iGate after Capgemini bought the Indian-American firm in 2015.

The building itself is a Second Empire townhouse on the star, not a glass campus.

It has been the company's Paris headquarters since the mid-1980s; the 2001 annual report already printed this address as corporate HQ.
