Crash Landing on You | Grindelwald First — The Ridge Where the Air Holds Them

First is a shoulder of grass and rock at 2,167 metres above Grindelwald. The gondola climbs from the village. At the top there is a station, a cliff walk, a flyer, and a launch for paragliders. The Wetterhorn and the Eiger take the sky. The valley floor is a green tray far below.

Crash Landing on You uses this ridge for the Swiss reunion the plot has been saving. Yoon Se-ri and Ri Jeong-hyeok meet again in the high air above Grindelwald, on ground that adventure companies sell as First Flyer and First Cliff Walk. The camera wants height and weather. First has both. Paragliders still leave from here on clear days, the same trade Interlaken has sold for decades, the same trade that sent Se-ri off a Korean hillside in episode 1 and dropped her into another country.

The mountain station is public once you buy the lift. The ridge path toward Grosse Scheidegg is a hiking line, not a set. Stand at the platform rail and look down the valley. That is the scale the last episodes needed. The drama left. The drop did not.
