Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha | Cheongjin 3-ri Welfare Center — The Clinic Over the Divers' Shop

The building faces the water on Haean-ro in Cheongjin-ri. Ground floor is still a working scuba shop. The second floor was dressed as Yoon Dental Clinic, the practice Hye-jin opened when Seoul would not have her. Long windows take the East Sea in one pane. A turquoise tooth still hangs on the fascia.

This is Cheongjin 3-ri Fishermen's Welfare Center, a public hall the village already used. The production rented the upper rooms. After broadcast the same rooms became Yoon Restaurant, keeping the pale yellow paint and the hours board the cameras framed. VisitKorea lists 1884-2 Haean-ro and says the glass still does the work the drama asked of it.

Stand in the lot and look up, not through the door if a meal is not what you came for. The sea is the same width as the window. Hye-jin's patients arrived by village bus. You can too. The clinic was never a soundstage. It was a room a fishing village already owned.
