The alley climbs off Noksapyeong-daero 40-gil before the main Itaewon strip begins. Number 57 is a narrow shopfront on the hill. In the drama it became DanBam, the pocha Park Saeroyi opened after seven years at sea.

VisitKorea still sends pilgrims here. The lamb-skewer room was dressed as a food stall for filming. After the series it reopened as Seoul Bam and kept the dishes the camera lingered on: sundubu jjigae, stir-fried pork with mung-bean sprouts, soju on the table under a cheap canopy.

Episode 2 ends on this doorstep. Saeroyi and Oh Soo-ah meet again by accident after the years that broke the first life. Later the same doorway becomes the office, the kitchen, and the argument. The rent in the story was fantasy. The slope is not.

Hours run evening into night. The sign is no longer the painted DanBam board, but the address has not moved. Walk up from Noksapyeong Station Exit 1. The stall is small. That was the point.
