Proposal Daisakusen (2007) | Dengaku Bridge — Rei’s Love Letter Becomes a Paper Airplane

Episode 6 of Fuji TV’s 2007 プロポーズ大作戦 (Proposal Daisakusen), broadcast on 21 May 2007, uses 田楽橋 (Dengaku Bridge) over the Meguro River for one of the episode’s most memorable outdoor beats. The filming-location record identifies it as the bridge where Rei Yoshida turns her love letter into a paper airplane and throws it, and also notes Ken Iwase running across the bridge.

Dengaku Bridge remains a public crossing between Nakameguro 1- and 2-chome. Meguro City’s current material on the Meguro River flood-control system still identifies Dengaku Bridge by name, and the Intellectual Property High Court’s access map also marks the bridge beside the Nakameguro riverside area. Visitors can therefore revisit the public bridge without treating adjacent court, hospital or residential property as part of the filming location.
