Record of Youth|Baegot Hanul Park — The Riverbank That Is Not Seoul

In episodes 6 and 7 Hye-jun and Jeong-ha drive out of the capital and park beside water that looks too wide for a weekday. Baegot Hanul Park runs the Siheung coast from Wolgot toward Oido. Planned towers stand behind the path. The West Sea sits in front of it. The drama needed a horizon that did not already belong to Han River postcards.

Siheung built the park as a public shoreline for a new town, with a long bicycle path, salt-air lawns, and room enough for two people to walk without performing for anyone. Official city pages list the address as 61 Haesongsimni-ro. The park stays open through the year. At dusk the glass of the apartments lights the water. That reflection is what the camera wanted.

Come on a late afternoon when the wind is up. The path is ordinary infrastructure. The scene made it feel like a pause the industry would not give them. Stand facing the sea and you understand why they left town to talk.
