The Hasuda publishing-distribution center in Saitama was used in Episode 5, broadcast 10 May 2016, for the sequence in which Kokoro Kurosawa and sales employee Jun Koizumi accompany Kōtokan president Masaru Kuji to confront what happens to books that do not sell. The location gives physical weight to one of the drama’s central ideas: publishing is not only authors and editors, but also printing, sales, returns, logistics and the cost of unsold inventory.

The location attribution is unusually well documented. Nippon Shuppan Hanbai announced on 9 May 2016 that the Hasuda Center had been used for 『重版出来！』, with filming carried out on 2 May and the footage scheduled for the 10 May broadcast. Contemporary filming-location records also identify the center as the Episode 5 disposal/returns facility visited by Kokoro, Koizumi and Kuji.

The facility is at 1464-1 Negane, Hasuda, Saitama. It is a working logistics site, not a tourist attraction. In 2026 the former Publishing Joint Distribution company was absorbed into Nippon Shuppan Hanbai, and the address is now listed by Nippan as its Hasuda Center. Pilgrims should not enter loading yards, warehouses or staff-only property without permission; this memory is best treated as an exterior/public-road reference.
