Episode 1 of TBS’s 『安堂ロイド～A.I. knows LOVE？～』 aired on October 13, 2013. The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies 幕張メッセ / Makuhari Messe in Chiba as the “airport lobby” where 沫嶋黎士 / Reiji Matsushima is confronted by Laplace and told that he will be killed.
TBS’s official premiere synopsis establishes the same turning point in the story: Reiji has calculated that he will soon be murdered, later appears to have boarded an international flight from Narita, and Asahi receives news of the plane’s destruction. Makuhari Messe is therefore a screen double for part of that fictional airport world; it should not be confused with Narita Airport itself.
The real Makuhari Messe remains one of Japan’s major convention complexes, comprising the International Exhibition Halls, International Conference Hall, and Makuhari Event Hall at 2-1 Nakase, Mihama-ku, Chiba. Public entry depends on the event and facility in use. This is a facility-level pin and does not claim the exact 2013 lobby camera position or actor mark.
