The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies 川口駅東口公共広場(キュポ・ラ広場) / Cupo-la Plaza in Kawaguchi for the rain-soaked scene in which Takuto falls with his wheelchair. The guide indexes the scene to Episode 10, broadcast March 12, 2014, and also records the same image in Episode 1, giving the location a deliberate bookending role across the series.
Fuji TV’s official Episode 10 page establishes the March 12 date and Takuto’s increasingly deliberate effort to fill his notebook with moments lived alongside Megumi. The March 19 finale then opens with Takuto having disappeared, fallen with his wheelchair in pouring rain, and been taken to hospital. Together, the official synopsis and location record support the scene without inventing a more precise pavement or camera position than the evidence allows.
The plaza remains a functioning public space directly outside Kawaguchi Station’s east side. Kawaguchi City continues to administer it for public events in 2026, and current local mapping identifies it as キュポ・ラ広場. The stored coordinate is a Cupo-la complex/plaza-level pilgrimage pin rather than the exact 2014 fall point; visitors should also respect event closures and normal station-area pedestrian traffic.
