Episode 4, broadcast 4 February 2016, sends investigators through a case tied to past crimes and former offenders. The filming-location record identifies 旧伊勢屋質店 / the Former Iseya Pawnshop in Hongo as the pawnshop visited by Yui Matsubara and Kohei Horikawa during their investigation.

The real building adds historical value beyond the drama: it is the preserved former pawnshop associated with Meiji-era writer Higuchi Ichiyo and is now maintained by Atomi Gakuen Women's University as 菊坂跡見塾. The university and Bunkyo City continue to open it to the public on selected days, mainly weekends, generally 12:00–16:00 with final entry at 15:30; published schedules and temporary closures should be checked before visiting. Admission is listed as free, and there is no visitor parking or bicycle parking.
