JIN-仁- (2009) | Warp Station Edo — Tachibana House, Nihonbashi & the Edo Street Core

TBS’s 2009 first season of JIN-仁- used ワープステーション江戸 (Warp Station Edo) in Tsukubamirai as one of its principal Edo-period filming bases. The location record maps several recurring story spaces here, including the Tachibana family residence, the wall-lined road beside it, a version of Nihonbashi, and the Chiba dojo. Production-cooperation records specifically list Warp Station Edo from episode 3 through the finale, making it a useful anchor for understanding how much of Jin Minakata’s nineteenth-century Tokyo was assembled in one large backlot.

The important pilgrimage caveat is access. Warp Station Edo is a commercial filming facility managed by NHK Enterprises, and its regular public open-house operation ended on March 31, 2020. It is therefore not a normal sightseeing stop today; visitors should not enter unless an authorized event or other permitted access is announced.
