木更津キャッツアイ Kisarazu Cat's Eye (2002) | ADEKA Sodegaura Ballpark — Bussan’s Baseball Beginning and Finale

The baseball field now called ADEKA Sodegaura Ballpark is one of the most structurally important real-world locations in TBS’s 2002『木更津キャッツアイ』. The filming-location archive identifies the former Sodegaura Municipal Baseball Field in the ending sequence, in episode 1 flashbacks to Bussan and his friends’ high-school baseball days, and again in the 15 March 2002 finale, where Bussan plays while gravely ill and later appears back on the field with renewed energy.

The venue is the same municipal ballpark within Sodegaura General Sports Ground at 1566 Sakadoichiba. From 1 January 2026 its naming-rights name became ADEKA袖ケ浦球場; Sodegaura City still lists it as the municipal baseball facility, with 98-metre foul lines and 122 metres to centre field. The stored coordinate, 35.421904, 139.953462, is a current stadium-level map point and does not claim a particular base, dugout, or 2002 camera mark.

This remains an operating sports venue, so access depends on games, bookings, and facility rules. For a pilgrimage, the important continuity is the ballpark itself: it connects the characters’ shared baseball past to the television series’ final emotional return to the game.
