ごくせん (2002) | Former Jissen Women’s Shinmei Campus — The Original Shirokin Academy

The original 2002 NTV series ごくせん used 実践女子短期大学の旧・神明キャンパス in Hino as the principal real-world location for fictional 白金学院高等学校 (Shirokin Academy), the school where Yankumi begins teaching Class 3-D. Filming-location records identify the Shinmei campus from episode 1, broadcast 17 April 2002. The school buildings seen on screen no longer survive: Jissen Women’s University states that all buildings on the Shinmei campus were scheduled for demolition from April 2014, with the site renewed as athletic facilities in 2015. Today the footprint is Jissen Women’s Shinmei Ground rather than a preserved drama set. The coordinate is a current site-level pin for the former campus footprint, not an assertion of an exact classroom or camera position. Because the ground remains an educational athletic facility, view respectfully from public approaches unless attending an authorized event; do not enter restricted school areas simply for location hunting.
