Biography | Ferran Reverter — Group Chief at Wankelstrasse 5

By October 2018 the man who had run a Mataró shop floor was sitting in Ingolstadt as chief executive of MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group.

The registered German home of the holding was then Wankelstraße 5, in the south-east industrial belt of the city.

The later imprint address on Media-Saturn-Straße 1 is a 2022 register change.

The 2018 pin belongs on Wankelstraße.

It establishes October 2018 as the appointment month, without confirming the first day of that month.

It records him as Executive Director of the German group from October 2018 until 30 June 2021, after four years as Director of Operations.

Ceconomy, the listed parent, had needed a reset.

Spanish and Catalan business pages in 2021 treated Reverter as the Iberia operator who had been pulled to the German centre.

He was not a founder.

He was a hired retailer who had climbed inside one chain for sixteen years.

The move also took him out of Barcelona.

When Joan Laporta's board hired him in 2021, the club said he was leaving that Ingolstadt post and coming home.

The building is a corporate campus, not a private house.

It is not his workplace today.

What the pin records is the last non-football job before Camp Nou: group chief of a European consumer-electronics retailer, appointed from a Spanish operating company rather than from a bank or a club.
