Biography | Ferran Reverter — The Mataró Store That Trained a Group CEO

The usual story skips the shop floor and jumps to a German boardroom.

Ferran Reverter Planet entered MediaMarkt in July 2002 as head of new-technology purchasing.

The club's own appointment notice then places him as manager of the Mataró store, inside the Mataró Parc mall at Carrer d'Estrasburg 5.

Expansion and other Catalan business pages date that store job around 2005, three years after the purchasing post.

The mall is a working retail box on the Maresme, not a headquarters tower.

The later Iberia and group jobs were built on a store later described as one of the chain's more profitable Spanish sites.

He had come from the family firm Manufacturas Rever, where he was sales manager until November 2000.

Two years later he was buying consumer electronics for a German chain that sold them under fluorescent lights on this floor.

From here the titles stacked in public records: chief procurement officer for Iberia around 2010, chief operating officer in 2011, then executive director of MediaMarkt Iberia from July 2013 to September 2018.

The pin is the public mall, which still trades under the same brand.

It is not a private house and not a current personal workplace.
