The Yasukuni-dori crosswalk is a movement marker. Hikaru no Go uses crossings, sidewalks, and station-adjacent streets to keep its characters in motion between boards. A crosswalk is never the destination, but it catches the mood between decisions: the city keeps changing lights, people keep passing, and Hikaru keeps being pulled toward the next room, the next match, the next sign that Sai's world has entered his own.
