The finale synopsis makes the emotional importance clear: after Kyoko disappears, Yakusuke finds the black-haired woman he knows as Kyoko in front of the cinema where they had last made a promise, but she no longer remembers him.

The same Toyosu complex appears at several other points in the series, but this memory is intentionally scoped to the Episode-9/finale movie-theater-front thread rather than treating every LaLaport shot as one scene. Current official information lists the active waterfront shopping complex at 2-4-9 Toyosu, Koto City; it includes a cinema among its entertainment facilities.
