Episode 1 of Fuji TV’s 失恋ショコラティエ (Shitsuren Chocolatier / Heartbroken Chocolatier), broadcast January 13, 2014, uses Cafe La Bohème Shinjuku Gyoen for the restaurant scene in which Saeko tells Sota that she is getting married. It is one of the premiere’s key reality checks: Sota has returned from Paris and opened his chocolatier career around the hope of winning Saeko, only to hear that her life is moving in another direction.

The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies カフェ ラ・ボエム新宿御苑 at Shinjuku 1-chome as the restaurant used for that conversation. The restaurant itself remains in operation. Its current official page lists the address as 1F, Cosmo Shinjuku-Gyoen Building, 1-1-7 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and shows current 2026 opening information.
