J-Drama Pilgrimage | 失恋ショコラティエ — 諏訪の森公園 / Suwa-no-Mori Park

In Episode 1 of Fuji TV’s 2014 drama 失恋ショコラティエ (Shitsuren Chocolatier / Heartbroken Chocolatier), this is the park where 小動爽太 (Sota Koyurugi) gives 高橋紗絵子 (Saeko Takahashi) the serious homemade chocolate that crystallizes the rejection driving the story. The episode aired on January 13, 2014.

The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies 諏訪の森公園 in Tachikawa’s Shibasakicho 1-chome for this scene and also records the same park returning in Episode 2 for one of Sota’s imagined rejection sequences. The production cooperation list credits the Tachikawa Film Commission for Episode 1.

The park is still a real public municipal park rather than a preserved set. Tachikawa City describes it as a postwar civic park created from part of the old sacred grove around nearby Suwa Shrine, with tall trees preserving some of that wooded character. Tokyo Location Box also lists it as an active filming location at Shibasakicho 1-1, about a ten-minute walk from JR Tachikawa Station.

For pilgrimage purposes, treat the coordinate as a park-level pin. It does not claim the exact 2014 bench, chocolate handoff point, actor mark, or camera position, and playground furnishings may have changed since filming.
