Episode 9 of Fuji TV’s 『家族ゲーム』, broadcast June 12, 2013, begins with the Numata family in ruins; Fuji TV’s official synopsis says 沼田佳代子 / Kayoko Numata silently takes out a suitcase and leaves home. The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies Izu Kyuko’s 片瀬白田駅 / Katase-Shirata Station as the station where Kayoko is shown standing in that episode.

Katase-Shirata remains an active station on the Izu Kyuko Line. The railway’s current station page gives the address as 308-1 Shirata, Higashiizu and notes that the station is unmanned all day, with a sea-view setting; current 2026 fare information continues to list the stop.
