Episode 4 aired on 3 November 2014. The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies 高島城 (Takashima Castle) in Suwa as the castle keep used for Saitō Yoshitatsu’s stronghold. The same location record makes an important production distinction: the surrounding castle setting was represented by the Hachioji Castle ruins, while Takashima Castle’s keep was composited into the image. The guide also notes reuse of the keep as Odani Castle in Episode 5, aired 10 November.

That distinction matters for pilgrims: Takashima is a genuine filming element, but the television castle was a composite rather than a claim that every exterior shown was photographed inside Takashima Park. Today the reconstructed keep remains a public attraction in Takashima Park at 1-20-1 Takashima, Suwa. The official Suwa tourism site says the current keep was reconstructed in 1970 and houses local-history displays and an observation room.
