The final episode of TBS’s 『空飛ぶ広報室』, broadcast June 23, 2013, moves Rika’s story to Miyagi as she returns to the world around Matsushima Air Base. The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies JR仙石線 矢本駅 (Yamoto Station) as the station where 空井大祐 / Daisuke Sorai goes to meet 稲葉リカ / Rika Inaba. TBS’s official finale synopsis independently confirms the larger setup: two years after the disaster, Rika is encouraged to report from Matsushima as Blue Impulse returns and Sorai is serving at Matsushima Air Base.

Yamoto Station remains an active JR East station on the Senseki and Senseki-Tohoku lines. Higashimatsushima City also designates the route from Yamoto Station toward Matsushima Air Base as “Blue Impulse Street,” which makes the station a practical public starting point for a present-day pilgrimage without entering the military base.
