ロシニエールは、作品の外から推測した「モデル地」ではない。[日本アニメーションの公式作品紹介](https://www.nippon-animation.co.jp/work/1423/)が、アンネットとルシエンの暮らす舞台を「スイス・ロシニエール村」と実名で記している。1983年1月9日に放送が始まった『アルプス物語 わたしのアンネット』では、この山あいの村が、幼なじみ二人の友情が壊れ、長い時間をかけて結び直される物語の器になる。
事故で歩けなくなった弟ダニー、罪悪感を抱えるルシエン、怒りを手放せないアンネット。作品の中心にあるのは、雪景色の美しさだけではなく、同じ小さな共同体で顔を合わせ続けることから逃れられない三人の時間だ。谷に家々が集まり、その外側を牧草地と山が囲むロシニエールの地形を見ると、出来事が遠くへ散らず、何度も人を向き合わせる物語の距離感が具体的になる。
ただし、ここをアニメ背景の一対一の複製や、特定カットの背景参照地点として扱う根拠は確認できない。このメモリーが示すのは、作品公式が明記する実在の舞台そのものだ。[ロシニエール村の建築遺産案内](https://rossiniere.ch/patrimoine-architectural-le-village)によれば、集落を見下ろす教会には中世以来の内陣と鐘楼が残り、村の広場には1660〜1670年に建てられた「Maison de la Place」が立つ。広場から坂を見上げれば、木造家屋の装飾、教会の塔、背後の斜面が短い視線の中に重なる。
