のだめカンタービレ Nodame Cantabile (2006) | Higata Yoka Park — The Finale Mudflat Conversation

The Ariake Sea mudflat at Higata Yoka Park in Saga is one of the final real-world locations in Fuji TV’s 2006『のだめカンタービレ』. Filming-location records place the scene where Chiaki Shinichi talks with Nodame’s father at the Higashiyoka coast observation area in the final Lesson, broadcast on December 25, 2006. A second location record identifies the older observation deck by the imperial-visit memorial at approximately 33.173744, 130.271065.

The visitor setting has evolved since filming. The adjacent Higashiyoka Tidal Flat Visitor Center “Higasasu” opened on October 20, 2020, and Saga City now provides a 13-meter-high observation corridor for views across the Ariake Sea and Saga Plain. The tidal flat itself is a Ramsar-listed wetland of international importance, so the present-day pilgrimage is as much a protected nature visit as a television-location stop.

Pilgrimage note: this pin marks the documented 2006 observation-area location, not an invented place where the actors stood. Structures and sightlines may have changed during the two decades since filming; stay on public paths and observation facilities, respect wildlife and conservation rules, and do not enter the mudflat to recreate the scene.
