The Ibaraki Prefectural Government complex in Mito supplies the principal exterior of fictional Meishin University Hospital in Fuji TV’s 2006『医龍-Team Medical Dragon-』. The series’ filming-location record identifies 茨城県庁 as the hospital exterior, while separating other real facilities used for corridors, interiors and rooftop scenes—so this memory does not treat the prefectural building as the source of every hospital shot.

This is one of the strongest pilgrimage anchors for the first series because the imposing government tower establishes the institutional world Team Dragon is fighting inside. The production later returned to the same prefectural complex for『医龍2』, but this memory is scoped to the 2006 first season.
