True Beauty | Yonsei University Yeonhui Hall — The Red Brick That Became Saebom High

The building is a university hall. In True Beauty it is a high school gate.

Yeonhui Hall sits on the Sinchon campus of Yonsei University at 50 Yonsei-ro. Red brick, ivy, a lawn that students cross between lectures. When tvN needed a facade for Saebom High, the camera stopped here. Im Ju-kyung walks this ground on her first day with a new face and an old fear.

The hall was finished in 1956 with help from the U.S. Fifth Air Force and later renamed for the old Yonhi College. It still houses social science classrooms. Nothing about the masonry was built for a transfer student in foundation and a borrowed blazer. The series used what was already there.

Fans look for the angle where the brick fills the frame and the path runs toward the trees. The campus is open. You do not need a ticket. You do need to remember that classes are in session and that the building has a job besides yours.

Stand on the lawn long enough and the fiction thins. A girl who taught herself makeup is late for homeroom. A boy who already knows her bare face is somewhere on the same slope. The brick does not care which version you came for.
