Biography | Bo Jondal — Buried in the Woodland Cemetery at Djursholm

The last pin is not a boardroom. It is a woodland cemetery in Danderyd.

Bo Eskil Jondal died on 2 July 1997 in Stocksund, Danderyds församling.

Sveriges Dödbok records the date.

He was ninety-seven.

Vem är det 1997, printed while he was still alive, already listed him as a director living in Djursholm.

He is buried at Djursholms begravningsplats, the woodland graveyard at Ymervägen 55 in Altorp, northern Djursholm.

SvenskaGravar and the parish page both place him there.

The cemetery was taken into use in the 1890s and consecrated in 1897.

Altorps kapell, Lars Israel Wahlman's chapel of 1938, still serves burials on the ground.

Between the diploma and this grave he had two public lives in sequence.

From 1932 to 1953 he was a city engineer: resident engineer on the Södertunneln in 1932–33, works chief for the metro build from 1945 to 1951, then överingenjör at the building department.

From 1953 to 1965 he was verkställande direktör of AB Skånska Cementgjuteriet.

That twelve-year chair sits between Agne Sandberg and Ulf Widerström on Skanska's managing-director list.

The company he left in 1965 still used the Cementgjuteriet name.

The A-list registration and the later Skanska letters belong to the next man.
