Flower of Evil | Cafe Fun, Ansan — Egg Tarts After School

Seokhogongwon-ro 73 is a two-storey cafe on a park road in Sangnok-gu, Ansan. It is not Seoul. That is why the production used it.

In episode 2, Baek Hee-sung collects his daughter Eun-ha from school and sits her down here for egg tarts. The room is bright, a little too calm for a man who is already being hunted by his own past. He plays the father who never rushes. The tarts arrive. The girl eats. The camera lets the ordinary afternoon do the work that a monologue cannot.

Cafe Fun opened in 2018. Ansan Station on Line 4 is about twenty minutes on foot, or a short bus along the park. The street still reads as a city that forgot to be fashionable. Bring the child energy of the scene, not the thriller. If the shop hours have shifted since broadcast, the park road is still the walk. You come for the table by the window and the knowledge that the kindest version of Hee-sung was performed here, between a school gate and a plate of pastry.
