Drama: 日本テレビ『臨床犯罪学者 火村英生の推理』 / Rinsho Hanzai Gakusha Himura Hideo no Suiri / Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa (2016), scoped to the original 2016 terrestrial series and kept separate from the later revival.

Episode 8, broadcast 6 March 2016, brings the mysterious teenager Sakamata Kiyone to Kyoto. NTV’s official story says Akemi is approached by an unfamiliar boy in a park and talks with him before becoming wary of his unsettling behavior. A detailed Kyoto filming-location record identifies that meeting and conversation as taking place in front of 平安神宮・応天門 / Heian Jingu’s Otenmon gate, on the Okazaki Park side.

The production trail is unusually well corroborated: Kyoto City’s Media Support Center lists Okazaki Park among the series’ principal filming areas, and a February 17, 2016 extras notice specifically recruited passersby and school-trip students for filming in front of Heian Jingu. The red gate and open park approach therefore belong to the episode’s real Kyoto geography rather than being a generic establishing shot.

The stored pin is a representative public gate-front point at Otenmon, not an exact actor or camera mark. Heian Jingu remains an active Shinto shrine at 97 Okazaki Nishitennocho. Keep the drama pilgrimage on public approach space, respect worshippers and shrine rules, and avoid blocking the gate or staging disruptive reenactments.
