Episode 3 aired on 26 October 2014. The Nationwide Filming Location Guide identifies 三嶋大社 (Mishima Taisha) as the shrine used for the summer-festival scene with 蔦谷サトシ / Satoshi Tsutaya and 蜂矢祐子 / Yuko Hachiya. The shrine later returns as the starting point for the drama’s fictional 「箱根まで駅伝」 relay in episodes 5–6, and again in episode 7 when 中井貴子 / Takako Nakai gives 昭島司 / Tsukasa Akishima her contact information. That repeated use makes the shrine one of the most recognizable real Mishima landmarks threaded through the school story.

Mishima Taisha remains an active Shinto shrine at 2-1-5 Omiyacho, Mishima. Its official site documents a working precinct with the honden, worship hall, stage, shrine office and regular rites and奉納 events; it should therefore be visited as a religious site first, not as a drama set.
