クロサギ Kurosagi (2006) | Old Iwabuchi Sluice Gate Riverside — The Recurring Riverbank

TBS’s 2006『クロサギ』 repeatedly returns to the Arakawa/Sumida riverside as one of its visual breathing spaces between the fraud cases. The nationwide filming-location archive identifies the frequently seen riverbank as the former Iwabuchi Water Gate park area in Shimo, Kita City. Because the guide treats it as a recurring principal location rather than tying it to a single episode, this memory is dated to the series premiere on 14 April 2006.

The historic red gate itself survives. Today it is known as the Old Iwabuchi Sluice Gate (旧岩淵水門・赤水門), completed in 1924 and no longer used as the active flood-control gate. The Agency for Cultural Affairs lists it as an Important Cultural Property, while Kita City’s tourism guide notes that visitors can view it closely from the adjacent bridge and continue onto the small Arakawa Akasuimon green space.

The coordinate is a location-level pin beside the surviving red gate and riverbank, not a claim about an actor’s exact position or a specific 2006 camera setup. It is an open riverside heritage area, so keep to public paths and observe any current river-management restrictions.
