Nobuta wo Produce (2005) | Former Ryusen Junior High Site — Sumidagawa High School

Nippon TV’s 2005 野ブタ。をプロデュース (Nobuta wo Produce) used the former 竜泉中学校 (Ryusen Junior High School) site in Taito as the principal real-world exterior for the fictional 隅田川高校 (Sumidagawa High School). The filming-location archive identifies the former school as the main school building and separately notes that rooftop scenes were filmed at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, so this memory does not treat every school scene as having been shot here.

The 2005 school building no longer survives in that form. Taito City states that the current Ryusen Welfare Center “Ikiiki Terrace” was built on the former Ryusen Junior High School site and opened on 1 October 2024 at 2-10-5 Ryusen. That makes this a changed historical filming site rather than a preserved drama set.

The coordinate 35.7253065, 139.7896943 is the mapped point for the current public welfare center occupying the former school site. It is used transparently as a present-day site pin, not as an invented exact camera or actor position from 2005. Visitors should respect the current community facility and use only normally accessible public areas.
