野ブタ。をプロデュース repeatedly uses ジョイフル三ノ輪 (Joyful Minowa) in Minami-Senju as the covered shopping street near fictional Sumidagawa High School. The filming-location archive lists it among the drama’s principal locations and returns to the arcade in episode 8, broadcast on 3 December 2005, when Shuji is taken away after being accused of striking a drunk man.

Joyful Minowa remains a living neighborhood shopping street rather than a preserved television set. Arakawa City describes the arcade as a roughly 465-metre passage established in 1919 and still used by local family-run businesses; the shopping street’s own current site likewise emphasizes that it continues to serve everyday neighborhood life while welcoming location visitors.
