電車男 (2005) | Manseibashi — The Hand-in-Hand Walk Back into Akihabara

Manseibashi is one of the recurring physical links between Akihabara and the romance in Fuji TV’s 2005『電車男』. In episode 9, broadcast on 1 September 2005, the filming record places Yamada and Saori walking hand in hand across the bridge. The finale returns to the same bridge when Saori gets out of Sakurai’s car before searching for Yamada.

This is the present Manseibashi over the Kanda River, joining Kanda-Sudacho and Sotokanda. Chiyoda’s official tourism guide notes that a bridge has occupied roughly the current position since 1903 and that the present reinforced-concrete arch dates from 1930.

The coordinate marks the bridge itself, not a reconstructed camera mark or the actors’ exact footsteps. It is a normal public crossing, so the most respectful pilgrimage is a brief stop from the sidewalk without blocking pedestrian traffic or leaning into the roadway for a matching angle.
