People treat Nintendo presidents as products of the development floor.

Furukawa's public credential is a 1994 bachelor's degree from Waseda University's School of Political Science and Economics.

The faculty sits on the main Waseda Campus at 1-6-1 Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku, in Building 3.

The tower a visitor photographs today is not the one he sat in.

The old 3-gokan, finished in 1933, was demolished in 2011.

A new building on the same lot opened in September 2014 and copies part of the old facade.

He left this faculty in 1994 and joined Nintendo the same year.

The degree is political science and economics, not engineering and not game design.

That is the point of the pin.

Later profiles say a classmate's Super Mario Kart recommendation had already bent his job search toward Kyoto.

The registrar's fact is simpler.

Waseda stamped a political-economy graduate and sent him into an accounting track at a company whose legal seat was still in Shimogyo-ku.

The Kamitoba headquarters he would later occupy did not open until November 2000.
