Biography | Yang Yuanqing — The Xibeiwang Headquarters After Lenovo Passed HP

The building on Xibeiwang East Road is later than the IBM deal.

Lenovo's western Beijing headquarters was completed in 2015.

The photographer N509FZ dated a widely used Commons view to 7 July 2017 and logged the camera at 40.04479, 116.26763.

The company's own locations page still gives the address as Building 2, No. 10 Courtyard, Xibeiwang East Road, Haidian.

That is a public corporate campus.

It is not a residence.

By the time this block opened, the market argument of the 2009 return had a number attached.

On 11 July 2013 both IDC and Gartner put Lenovo first in worldwide PC shipments for the second quarter.

IDC's share was 16.7 percent against Hewlett-Packard at 16.4 percent.

Gartner printed the same 16.7 percent for Lenovo.

Forbes noted the Hong Kong shares jumping on the print.

The New York Times, writing that December, treated the number-one ranking as already the Chinese reading of the firm.

Yang was chairman and chief executive for the whole of that climb.

The dual headquarters pattern — Beijing and Morrisville, North Carolina — predates this tower.

What a visitor finds here is the 2015 west campus, not the Shangdi buildings of the IBM years.
