白夜行 Byakuyakou (2006) | Kokudo Station — Ryoji and Matsuura Under the Arches

The shadowed space beneath JR Tsurumi Line’s Kokudo Station is the filming location where Kirihara Ryoji and Matsuura Isamu talk in episode 3 of TBS’s 2006 白夜行, broadcast January 26, 2006. The location archive identifies the underpass at Kokudo Station in Namamugi, Yokohama, rather than merely using the station as an establishing shot.

Kokudo Station remains in service. JR East describes it as a Tsurumi Line stop, and a 2026 JR East feature notes that its concrete arches, dim passage and other fabric from the station’s 1930 opening still survive, which helps explain why the location retains much of the severe atmosphere seen on screen.
